In most circumstances I would say no for the following reasons: seller usually have to go somewhere after they sell the property to you. And there's too many things that can delay their ability to move out of your home, death in the family, loss of job, a delay in their purchase or lease. So I would basically rather see you postpone the closing and then close at a later date when your seller can give occupancy to you.
