Yes, we do that quite often. In more than half of our closings, we do mail aways. A lot of times it can be on the seller side, not the buyer side. Buyer side, not the seller side. Sometimes we never see the transacting parties, but yes, it gets a little tricky when banks are involved, but we can work around that. We call it managing our clients' expectations. We try to establish up front where the parties are going to be, and what the lenders require. Then all the logistics are worked out, so yes. You do not have to be at closing.
